The Meta Ad Library lets you look at everything and take nothing with you. No favorites, no export, no history, and images whose addresses expire after a few days. You spend an hour exploring a niche, you close the tab, and it's all gone.
The CreaFlow AI Chrome extension fixes that by adding to the library the one thing it lacks: a button to keep what you see.
Two buttons added to the library
Once installed, the extension shows up directly on facebook.com/ads/library, without changing the way you browse.
On every ad, a save button appears. One click, and the ad goes to your workspace with its visual, its text, its format and the date it started running.
On an advertiser's page, a second button grabs up to 50 active ads from the brand in one go. It pages through the results for you, saves everything, then opens the screen where you choose which ones you want to clone depending on your credits.
That's the difference between skimming a niche and capturing it.
What you then find in your workspace
Everything you capture lands in CreaSpy, CreaFlow AI's ad monitoring screen. There, you have what Meta's interface doesn't offer.
| On Meta | In your workspace |
|---|---|
| No sorting | Sorting by running time, by EU reach, by what looks most solid |
| Visuals at temporary addresses | Visuals copied over, available with no time limit |
| No history | What you've captured stays, and can be compared over time |
| No alerts | A notification when a brand you follow publishes new ads |
| No way to act on what you see | A “Clone” button on every ad |
That last point is the one that changes the nature of the exercise: an ad you've spotted is no longer a screenshot in a folder, it's a starting point.
Automatic store detection
The extension also detects, in the background, the e-commerce stores you visit. When you open a brand's site, it's recognized as a store and can be followed in one click, without you having to search for it.
That's what feeds competitor discovery: the brands you come across while browsing grow your list instead of staying in your history.
What it doesn't do
Better to be straight about it, because it's the first question we get asked.
It reads only the Ad Library pages you open yourself. It doesn't touch your news feed, doesn't post anything, and doesn't access your messages or the data from your Facebook account. It doesn't collect any data that Meta doesn't already make public: budget, targeting and performance aren't accessible to anyone, extension or not.
It doesn't bypass anything either. What it captures is what's displayed on screen while you browse.
Installation
The extension is published on the Chrome Web Store and works on Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera.
- Install it from the Chrome Web Store, it's free.
- Sign in to your CreaFlow AI account from the extension window. If you don't have one, the free plan is enough and doesn't require a credit card.
- Open
facebook.com/ads/libraryand search for a brand. The buttons are there.
Nothing else to set up.
And then, CreaFlow AI produces your creatives
Capturing is only half of it. The point of having fifty competitor ads in your workspace is to get your own out of them.
From a captured ad, CreaFlow AI analyzes its structure, the angle, the promise, the visual hierarchy, then regenerates the equivalent with your product and your brand. No element of the original visual is reused.
The complete method is detailed in cloning competitor ads, and Meta's own tool in the Meta Ad Library.
