Edits in the editor are free and unlimited. Only the AI assistant costs credits, when it edits the image.
The editor is used on a computer: on a phone, the Editor page shows up but the editor doesn't open.
Open the editor
- From the Studio: open a creative, then “Visual editor”.
- From the Editor page: “Edit a creative” (from your Studio), “Import a creative” (your own image) or a blank page (square, portrait, story, landscape). Its “Videos” tab gathers your videos and carousels (see Create a video ad).
The tools
- On the left: Templates, Text, Elements, Images, Tools (pencil, eraser, magic eraser) and Layers.
- On the right: the properties of the selected element, and the AI assistant.
Edit the creative's text
Click “Make editable”: your creative's text turns into layers you can change. It's free.
After the AI assistant has edited the whole image, the creative's text is part of the new image: “Make editable” reads it back from that new image, for free.
Remove the background
“Remove background” and the magic eraser run on your computer, for free. The first time, the tool downloads a file (about 100 MB to remove the background), then it doesn't need to again.
Save
- Your drafts save on their own on this computer, in the “In progress” section of the Editor page.
- “Save” creates a new creative, visible in Editor and in your Studio. It's free.
- Ctrl+Z undoes, Ctrl+Y redoes. “Start over from the original” wipes all your edits.
