What costs credits
| Action | Cost |
|---|---|
| Generate a creative (also a “Retry”) | 12 credits |
| Clone an image ad | 19 credits |
| Adapt a creative to another format | 5 credits |
| Have FlowAI Editor edit the image | 9 credits per approved request |
| Approve a video's script (deposit, deducted from the animation) | Depends on the script, shown on the button |
| Animate a video: a flat fee, then each second of its shots, animated / realistic | 10 credits, then 27 / 29 credits per second |
| Someone speaks on screen in the video (their lips follow the voice) | 11 more credits per second of the shots where you see them speak |
| Precise lips on a shot (face turned away, in profile or partly hidden) | 16 more credits per second of that shot |
| A video image redone beyond the free retouches (shot, product drawing): animated / realistic | 12 / 16 credits |
| A character sheet redone beyond the free retouches: animated / realistic | 12 / 24 credits |
| A voice-over take, beyond the 3 free ones per video | 8 credits per started block of 500 characters of the script |
| Create a carousel | 10 credits, plus 12 per photo |
In FlowAI, for clones and for format variations, the cost is shown before you launch, along with what you'll have left. For a video, the script card shows the estimated price of the whole video, and warns you before you pay if your credits won't be enough to see it through. “Confirm the script” charges a deposit: one image per shot, the voice-over, the estimated characters and the product drawing if it is still to be done. It is then deducted from the price of the animation, charged when you click “Animate” based on the real length of the shots (see Create a video ad). A shot with your own video doesn't count in the animation price.

See your balance
The credit counter is at the bottom of the left-hand menu. Click it to open Settings › “Subscription & credits”: your balance, the number of creatives it still covers, and your renewal date. It shows your balance and your plan's credits for the month (just the balance on the free plan). Right below it, “Need more credits?” opens the top-up if you're a subscriber, or the plans on a free account.
Refunds
- A failed or cancelled creative: credits returned automatically.
- A failed video, or a redone shot that fails: credits returned automatically.
- Characters counted in the deposit that the preparation doesn't draw: credits returned automatically.
- A video you delete before it's finished: the animation not yet delivered is returned, but not the deposit, nor paid retouches or voice takes (that work is already done).
- A creative that came out wrong and that you report: credit returned if the report is approved (within 48 hours).
Top up your credits
If you're a subscriber and you run short of credits before the end of the month, you can buy more without changing plans. In Settings › “Subscription & credits”, click “Top up my credits” and choose a pack: the credits arrive right after payment. When an action is short of credits (a video to animate, for example), the top-up opens by itself, tells you how many are missing and highlights the smallest pack that covers it.
These top-up credits don't expire at renewal: they're added on top of your plan and stay as long as your subscription is active (your balance uses the plan's credits first, then the top-up). If your subscription ends, the ones left are kept for 30 days: subscribe again within that time to keep them. Their price goes down with your plan: 1,000 credits cost €8.49 on Starter, €7.49 on Growth and €6.99 on Creascale. Packs go from 1,000 to 10,000 credits, at the same price per credit, with no purchase limit. Outside Europe, the same amounts are paid in US dollars. Top-ups are for subscribers only: on a free account, you need to subscribe to a plan first.
Renewal
At each renewal, your plan's balance resets to its starting amount: unused plan credits don't carry over to the next month (top-up credits, on the other hand, stay). With an annual plan, your credits are refilled every month.
